The Group is forming . . .
One of the goals I set for VCG is to provide my clients with whatever they need to succeed. If I can’t solve a problem, I’ll find someone who can - someone I’ve worked with and can vouch for without reservation.
The Group is still forming. And here’s where you’ll find us.

Connie Cocroft
Insights to Impact Strategist
I'm excited to introduce you to my colleague and friend, Connie Cocroft. I worked alongside Connie for two years at a startup, and I can personally attest to her remarkable talents and expertise.
Connie is a seasoned strategy, analytics, operations, finance, innovation, and investment professional who is passionate about helping organizations, individuals, and investors achieve sustained success. Drawing on over 20 years of board, venture capital/accelerator, data analytics, and software/SaaS experience, she partners with executives to identify and create mechanisms to sustain meaningful sources of growth and value. Her two dominant areas of expertise are: identifying business drivers and metrics, with deep insight into three levers of revenue and profitability growth: organic innovation, acquisitions, and recurring revenue/ customer success; and finding the thread in a mountain of data to drive executive decision-making and to identify key actions. Her work experience spans multi-billion-dollar companies (CA Technologies) to start-ups/small companies. She has worked on social and climate impact investment strategies. Connie is a Venture Partner at Trailhead Capital and a board member of Morse Group, a PE-backed music company. Connie holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA from Williams College.
I trust Connie completely in her areas of expertise. Her insights have consistently delivered real value.
I can recommend her without reservation.

Alix Ford
Efficiency Transformation Architect
At the same startup I met Connie, I also met Alix. She’s also a force to be reckoned with and I’ve learned a ton from working with her.
Alix is an experienced operational strategist, implementation and development expert and a leader in social ventures. She partners with executives and key stakeholders throughout large and small organizations to identify and create mechanisms to sustain operational efficiencies, find creative solutions that integrate mission and sustainable revenue-driven business models, and drive value. Alix applies over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and management to help clients strengthen their organizational structures, develop and enhance their stakeholder relationships, and shape their strategic visions. Alix’s work experience spans acting as Chief Operating Officer of Proteus Ocean Group, Ltd, a social enterprise founded by Fabien Cousteau, serving as the Founding Social Entrepreneur and Director of Operations of NDWA Labs, LLC, and serving as a founding Board Member of the CRDC Foundation. She has worked on social and climate impact investment strategies for numerous impact- driven startups. Alix holds a JD from the University of California Davis, School of Law and a BA from Scripps College. And has her WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits, with Distinction.
I value Alix’s experience and no-nonsense ability to focus on what truly matters. She has a gift for cutting through to the heart of an issue, and explaining it in terms that others who don’t share her particular expertise can understand.
I can recommend her too without reservation.
